Come down and waste away with me, down with me
Slow, how you wanted it to be, I'm over my head, out of her head, she sang
Alright, alright, alright.
I am riding out the tail end of this wave of funk.
I am bouncing up and down on the foam, coaxing the last out of this ride, right into the beach.
Tomorrow is another day. Another day of snowboarding, that is. And that always makes me happy. Something about being in the mountains really just does it for me.
But I guess if you have been reading this, you already know that.
I'm bummed about the loss of my camera.
I was developing the skillz and magic of a liger with that thing.
Alas, henceforth, I will have to paint pictures with my words, for display in the theater of the mind.
Like this scrawled note I found on my desk:
Walking around Walmart with an ass like a sack of potatoes.
Now, if that doesn't paint a fucking picture, I don't know what does.

Thanks to those of you who gave me a shout-out in one form or another this week. I really appreciated it. It's nice to know one has friends, even if they are thousands of miles away.
It's also flattering to know how many of you actually enjoy reading this crap.
So, thanks.

Friday night.
Going home for Christmas.
First chair on a powder day.
The strains of a favorite song, heard through the window of a passing car.
Opening day.
A smile from a beautiful girl.
Hope.
They all hold hope.
Tomorrow is another day.

Glad to see a glimmer of Joe back :)
Can you claim for your camera on insurance? I love to see your photos. (More pet ones too please. We had to have our oldest cat put to sleep 5 days before Christmas and I still feel like a murderer, even though she was almost 18 years old).
Don't be a cheap skate. Go buy another camera. You can get one from Wal-mart for like $89. I'll float you a loan if you need one.
