A STRONG WEATHER SYSTEM OFF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST COAST IS EXPECTED
TO MOVE NORTHEAST THROUGH CENTRAL OR EASTERN MONTANA LATE FRIDAY
NIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. IT HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR CAUSING SIGNIFICANT SNOW FOR
PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST MONTANA FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY
NIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO INCREASE IN INTENSITY TONIGHT NEAR THE
CONTINENTAL DIVIDE THEN SPREAD EAST FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. GUSTY
NORTHEAST TO EAST WINDS COULD CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW AND POOR
VISIBILITIES OVER THE PLAINS AND THROUGH MOUNTAIN PASSES. WIND
CHILL TEMPERATURES COULD FALL TO NEAR ZERO.
