...the kind you don't take home to mother
Do: Have a passion in life
Don't: Be white and sport dreadlocks
Do: See Hustle and Flow; it is superb
Don't: Verbally bash snowboarders. That is so 1994. Particularly when it comes from a less-than-expert skier, and the bashing in question refers to snowboarders being "out of control" and "messing up the moguls." Odds are, I can ride a tighter line in bumps than you can ski, so shut the fuck up. Watch and learn.
Do: Drink Good Earth Green Tea with Lemongrass.
Don't: Even Think About It.
Do: Call an old friend.
Don't: Forget about Dre.

D0: Use the baseline as an extra defender
Don't: Aim your jumper, especially at crunch time.
It seems to me that there's only one truly legitimate complaint that applies only to snowboarders, but not to skiers:
It's those 'boarders who can't yet handle the steep powder lines, but insist on riding them anyway. Then they heelside slip right down the fall line, ruining it for at least two other people who CAN ride that steep.
Everybody's gotta learn, but don't ruin the hill for everybody else while doing so. Hell, half the people i see doing this can't even link turns on a bunny slope yet!
