The waiting drove me mad
You're finally here and I'm a mess

I am in a glass cage of emotion.

Baxter, my iPod, has died.

I would like to say he died peacefully, but we both know better, don't we?

I dropped poor Baxter. I unplugged him in the middle of a "DO NOT DISCONNECT" and I dropped him. On a wood floor.

Now, nothing I do, including totally fucking up iTunes on my computer and causing it to no longer work, will resucitate him.

He just makes this limp, clicking noise and tells me to go to apple support.

Oh, Baxter.

This is my desktop background:

I like that picture.

And, no, I'm not one of those "Freedom Isn't Free" kind of guys. I just like the picture, sociopolitical implications aside.

Time to go outside and play.

Oh, Baxter.

I think it was jinx that one of the last pictures you have on the blog was you you with you and Baxter.

Is this like the Sports Illustrated jinx....the Dude Abides jinx????

Leave pictures of KDog off your blog.

Clicking likely means the end of the ipod's hard drive

Maybe a flash-based player (like the ipod nano) is a good idea for your next one - if you drop them they bounce back like a basketball

Baxter probably needs a new hard-drive: www.techrestore.com. You're still bald.
