I have faced it, a life wasted
I'm never going back again
Having tasted a life wasted
I'm never going back again

Did you ever have an itch in the middle of your back?

Kinda between your shoulder blades?

And you try to reach over the other shoulder and press your elbow, but, no, you can't reach it, so then you try from underneath, chicken-wingin' it, but to no avail?

Then you run into the kitchen and grab a wooden spoon or a barbecue fork or a ruler and aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, you just scratch the holy hell out of it?

Well, that's what today felt like.

I did not end up going to Bridger. I was communicating via cell phone and internet with various sources, and made an informed decision to go to Moonlight Basin today, which is adjacent to Big Sky.

I flew solo, but that doesn't matter, because there are no friends on a powder day.

All of Moonlight Basin is North-facing.

It was colder than a well-digger's ass with the wind, somewhere around -15.

But they had snow. Oh, they had snow, both fresh and windblown, varying between 4 and 10 inches, depending on the aspect of the slope and the wind.

The tenperature kept everyone (except me) off the slopes.

Seriously.

I went down three runs, three times each. I left nine, uninterrupted, and if I might say, gorgeous, lines.

I kept it real and represented the Dam in an old school way.

I was just looking at my Photobucket and I realize it has spiraled beyond any semblance of control. There are over a thousand pictures in over a hundred galleries labeled in a haphazard manner. I have no earthly idea what is going on.

I guess I never did.

It is something that my heirs will sort out.

I am thinking about gunning for this job.

To drive across the country in the Weinermobile, spreading the gospel of Oscar Mayer.

That's about enough for the likes of you.

Here is one of my favorite pictures. Ironically, it is one of the first I took when I moved here, and started that photobucket morass.

(((If you are wondering why I don't have any pictures of today, well... today was about me. Just like yesterday was. And tomorrow. In fact, the sooner you figure out that it is all about me, the better you will do in our program here at The Dude Abides.

Yes, there is a program.)))

See you around.

Have a nice Friday.

"It is something that my heirs will sort out," followed by a pic of your sweet dogs. Too funny!
