Thank you kindly
For thinking of me
If I'm not smiling, I'm just thinking
Glad and sorry
Thanks for all the comments and emails about the last post.
I am glad you liked it, and I am particularly pleased to be the cause of a few mental vacations taken from work. I am proud to be a cause of "lost productivity due to internet usage." Who the hell can maintain a laser-like focus on work for the entire day, anyway?
As much as you liked it, believe me, we liked it more. We had an absolutely incredible day.
So, let's see... we watched The Last King of Scotland last night. It told the (based on a true) story of Idi Amin's rise to power, through the eyes of a young, Scottish doctor whom Amin befriended and took under his wing, eventually making him his closest advisor.
Idi Amin was an absolute batshit nutjob. Forrest Whittaker ((check out Ghost Dog, the Way of the Samurai sometime)) nailed his charismatic paranoia. Just nailed it. Idi Amin took over Uganda in a coup, and proceeded to kill 300,000 Ugandans. He died in exile in Sudia Arabia in the 90's.
The movie was good, but so intense that I had to get up and walk around a couple times.
Speaking of which, I have been remiss in not writing much about The Sopranos on this blog. I am a huge, huge fan. I have seen every episode of every season, most of them two or three times.
They are coming down the home stretch right now. I think there are six episodes left, and then it is done. They are ratcheting up the intensity each week, and it feels coiled, tight, tense. I think they are going to go out with a bang. If you haven't watched the show, by all means, pick up or rent the dvds. Start at the beginning, and I guarantee you will get sucked in.
Anyway, thanks for all the emails and stuff. It makes doing this worthwhile. I'm glad you like it.

The late, beautiful Adrianna is not going to go away quietly.
Mark me word.
Hesh lost a nice piece of ebony arse as our hero Tony Soprano and Bobby gave her a heart attack.
Niggahs could ruin a wet dream.
