Tell me true
Tell me why
Was Jesus crucified?

Was it you?

Was it me?

Did I watch too much T.V.?

Is that a hint of accusation in your eye?

Mother, should I run for president?

Mother, should I trust the government?

Look, Mummy, there's an airplane up in the sky.

The flames are all long gone, but the pain lingers on.

Daddy's flown, across the ocean

Leaving just a memory

A snapshot in the family album

Daddy, what else did you leave for me?

When we grew up and went to school

There were certain teachers

Who would hurt the children any way the could

By pouring their derision on anything we did

Exposing every weakness

However carefully hidden by the kids

I don't really feel like I have to tell you a damn thing... but I don't want you to leap to any conclusions, as you are prone to do.

What shall we use to fill the empty spaces where we used to talk?

So, here it is: I brought Stanette home to the Dam, my mom (God Bless Her Heart) and dad had a huge picnic.

How shall I fill the final places?

Josh and Amy and Tony and Alison and Birdy and Vaughn and The One Who Is Yet Unamed, and about 30 or 40 other people came by.

We woke up and drove down to the Eck's house.

Then on to Summerfest.

How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?

Day after day, love turns gray

Like the skin of a dying man.

Night after night, we pretend its all right

But I have grown older and

You have grown colder and

Nothing is very much fun any more.

And I can feel one of my turns coming on.

I feel cold as a razor blade

Tight as a tourniquet

Dry as a funeral drum.

Here is a a video from the show:

There is more.

Goodbye.

Sounds awesome, bout time to make our way to Summerfest again. We were just at the Taste Of Chicago today. Not bad, not good, just kind of there.
