Don't bring me down

Does the United States government have a petty cash drawer?

Does Microsoft?

You could probably make quite a few Dairy Queen runs before anyone noticed.

It has been raining here steadily for around 20 hours. There is some decent snow down to 7000 feet.

I am going to the gym later.

I have been playing a lot of guitar, which explains the slowdown in posts here. My interest in this blog as an outlet or forum has been waning significantly of late. I do not apologize for it, nor do I make any promises or proclamations about the future.

Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I feel like it and sometimes I don't.

Right now, in Montana, it is what we call "shoulder season." In other words, a couple months of shitty weather that shuts down outdoor fun. (Shoulders = mid-April to mid June & mid-Oct to mid-Dec).

It's too crappy to hike, too cold and the water is too low to kayak, and the resorts aren't open for skiing for a while. One could hike to ski, but that would be extremely unsafe.

And if you read this, you know I am All About Safety. I am the embodiment of Judicious Decision-Making. Prudence. Temperance.

Screw it.

Perfect time for song writing I would assume.

Start bacwards, come up with a bitchin' chorus and work your way to the introduction.

You could:

a/lament your late pooch
b/wonder what your ex-wife is doing
c/pray to the god of snowfall
d/explore the beauty AND danger of nature.
e/seduce /^A^\
f/serenade your present babe

Apparently, thy Muse hath foresakened thee.

Joe: Shoulder season is the time to get out there man. Fish. Hike(Don't get shot--big game season starts Sunday at sunrise). Take in Yellowstone(you won't get shot there AND the tourons are safely back home).

Or just fret about it.

Been raining here the entire month.

If it was a bit colder we'd have a shitload of snow.
