This is the mystery of the quotient
Upon us all a little rain must fall

Bells and Alicia lost Shaman, their trusty and loving dog, on Tuesday. It was unexpected; she suddenly fell ill. Bells was home and was with her.

She frequently accompanied Bells on his backcountry treks, which he did as part of his job with the Forest Service. She roamed far and wide for many years, through some of the most beautiful forests, rivers and mountains in Montana, Oregon, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, California, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

She could run like the wind, and never got lost. She was very smart and she loved Aden and Alicia.

As Puck got older, she was gentle, and seemed aware that he couldn't get around as well as she could.

I'd like to think they are together now, running, sniffing, rolling and stinking to their hearts' content.

You are missed and loved, Shaman.

May your heart always be joyful,

May your song always be sung,

May you stay forever young.

Uncle chris i am very sorry to hear about shaman, my mom woke me up this morning and told me. She was a big part of everyones lives and she can never be replaced in the family. I'm sure shaman is with puck and they are having tons of fun together. Wether its sniffing around or chasing a black bear... My heart goes out to you, alicia and aden. I cant imagine what all of you feel like but i kno how i feel because i grew up with shaman and it has to be ten times as worse for you. I love shaman and may she rest in peace. The best of wishes to you, alicia and aden.

Love,
Alyshia and Family
