I need your help
They got the lab results back from the Doodlebug's tumor. It is what they call feline fibrosarcoma, which is a malignant type of cancer that grows tumors right between the cat's shoulder blades, and is somehow related to vaccines that were all, until recently, administered in that very area.
The tumor was removed and the margins are clean, however, this cancer is a bad one, and the tumor usually reappears somewhere between five days and three months after surgery. Occasionally, there is successful treatment with surgery and radiation... except the radiation is required five times a week for four weeks, and she would have to be anesthetized.
And, here's the kicker, the closest place that does radiation is in Spokane, which is over five hours from Bozeman, so it really isn't an option.
Those of you who know me are aware that this is some devastating news. She is ten, and I have had her since she was just under six weeks old.
I guess I will enjoy her and love her as much as possible for the time being.

If you like Nine Inch Nails, you will really like this album. It is his best one in years... and he gave it away for free.

Sorry to hear about Doodlebug.
Glad you brought the proof I demanded about snowmobiling in 90" weather.
Happy to hear about the sound proof room ( I mention it again in this comment because I see the potential of unmitigated mayhem playing out...and I like that sort of thing )
As far as NIN..who in their right mind would WANT to be under the bootheels of a reocrd company anymore. Radiohead gave it away too and actualy sold something like 700,000 copies as well even at (or especially because of) their bargain basement pricing.
The Eagles (remember them ?) cooked up an incredible deal with Wal-Mart to cut out the royalty mongers and are again making more money than God and Neil Young combined...AND...and I say And...hey don't do drugs anymore.

Aw, little Doodlebug/Scoob. I remember when you got her from Karen as a wee kitten. She only ever had eyes for you. That's some devotion. Here's hoping she beats the odds.
