All the bad boys
Are standing in the shadows
And the good girls
Are home with broken hearts

A couple quick movie reviews:

This weekend, we decided to go to a movie and the one that fit our time slot was The Incredible Hulk. It was actually pretty cool; waaaay better than the one a couple years ago. A great cast makes a big difference, and this one had Ed Norton, William Hurt and Tim Roth... and I have a hard time remembering any one of those three actors in any truly shitty movies, other than the one where Ed Norton was a priest.

It was definitely an enjoyable big screen experience, with some laughs thrown in. It made me regret not making the time to see Iron Man in the theater.

Then, last night on cable, I watched a documentary on Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers by Peter Bogdanovich called Runnin' Down a Dream. It was one of the best music documentaries I have seen. The Heartbreakers have had a looooong and very interesting career. This is worth watching, even if you aren't a Tom Petty fan, and a must-see if you are. There were a ton of live performances and commentary from Eddie Vedder, Roy Orbison, George Harrison, Ringo, Johnny Cash, Rick Rubin, Stevie Nicks, Jeff Lynne and more.

The only (small) point of contention is that it ran pretty damn long... over three hours, I think. If you like music, check it out.

We also did a hot, hot hike this weekend. I will post some pictures later.

Ironman was great but more of a setup movie like the first Spiderman. Now that all the prelim info is out of the way I am looking forward to the next one.
