He don't know
So he chases them away
Someday he'll begin his life again

It is strange. Everything is packed. I drove 1100 miles this week to Eastern Montana with my friend, Bl@in.

We were working in the Bakken oil field basin. It is a huge shale oil field that they have known about for a while. There is new, horizontal drilling and "frakking" technology that made it accessible. Well, that and $ 140/barrel oil prices.

We weren't wildcatting or drinking anyone's milkshake, though. We were doing other stuff.

It was fun. I had never been to Eastern Montucky. I liked it. Reminds me of small-town, Wisconsin. They are my kind of people in Sidney, Plentywood and Glendive.

'Course, we didn't venture onto the reservation.

I am pretty sure those people might want to kick my ass.

Bells, Tricky and Omar are rolling in here tomorrow to help move.

We checked the new house. The cabinets are done. The gay bamboo floors are getting down, tongue-and-groove style. The "delerium" granite is in. The frig/range/hood/dishwasher is in effect. The glass backsplash as well.

The master bath is not yet done. They are still working on the tile and glass.

It's mostly ready.

Maybe I will show you some pictures.

We'll see.

I wish I was a neutron bomb, for once I could go off.

I wish I was a sacrifice that somehow still lived on.

I wish I was a sentimental

Ornament you hung on

The Christmas tree, I wish I was

The star that went on top.

I wish I was the evidence, I wish I was the sound

Of fifteen million hands upraised

And open toward the sun.

I wish I was a sailor with someone who waited for me.

I wish I was as fortunate, as fortunate as me.

I wish I was the messenger, and all the news was good.

I wish I was the full moon shining on your Camaro's hood.

I wish I was a living being at home behind the sun.

I wish I was the souvenier you kept your house-key on.

I wish I was the pedal brake that you depended on.

I wish I was the one you trust and never let you down.

I wish I was, I wish I was.

I wish I was, I wish I was.

I wish.

I wish, I wish, I wish, I wish.
