I know your daddy's a sultan

It snowed for two and a half days.

There was 6 inches of snow in my driveway.

Apparently, there was betwen 20 and 30 inches at eleveation.

It looks like Christmas outside.

We holed up in the house. It started snowing on Friday, and it's still going.

We went to the gym Friday and Saturday, for about an hour each, but otherwise, we didn't leave the house.

I made sloppy joe's with ground turkey, louisiana spice, garlic, onion, shredded carrots, chopped celery and tomato sauce.

We watched Iron Man, which was awesome.

At some point, we decided we would spend the enitrety of Saturday in bed.

Stanette made posole, which a slow-cooked, pork, onion, garlic, stew, topped with fresh cilantro, jalapeno, green onion and brown/black tomatoes from the Bellcock garden.

We watched the Foot Fist Way and Leatherheads.

It snowed and snowed and snowed.

Bells came over today. We played a bunch of music, and it was better than usual.

Iron Man was awesome.

Midnight at the Oasis. Put your camel to bed.

Let's slip off to a sand dune, real soon...

Kick up a little dust.

The new hot tub arrives in ten days.

It's gonna be pretty sweet. There are lights, a mini-waterfall and we have the i-Pod dock all ready to rock.

Tomorrow is another Monday.

Poor Solomon Grundy.

Another Monday.

I have laid in a stash of Louisiana hot pepper sauce, mltiple flavors.

It helps to pass the time.

We wonder, and we blunder and we still how somehow stumble home.

It was 77 here today. Too hot for the freakin' pumpkin patch.
That's the first Solomon Grundy reference I've ever heard in my entire life. Actually, first time I've heard his name since I was 6 (circa).

All Saturday in bed? Those were the days! Prior to kids one of our favorite Sunday activities was, aside from getting the paper off the porch, spending all day in bed watching football...

Posole is a dish that is built around slow-cooked pork and hominy. I don't know hominy people forget to add that ingredient. But that's the authentic way.

In the sequel Tony Stark's military buddy (Terrence Howard) is gonna don that other 'iron man' armor it is hinted.

Sweet!

Don Cheadle is going to play the buddy instead of Terence Howard in the sequel. So they say.
