We gonna pitch a
Wang Dang Doodle
All night long
All night long

I have a vesuvius blister on the side of my big toe from the hike yesterday.

It's bulbous and angry, but it held up.

I am listening to John Lennon as I type this... "Beautiful Boy."

Such a nice song.

We had a nice little Sunday today.

Got some exercise this morning. Climbed stairs and shot hoops while I waited for Stanette to show up. She ran from our house to the gym. (7 miles!)

Went to Home Depot, got some wood and some screws. Then we went to the nursery and got a bunch of plants and seeds and soil mix*. We also got lunch.

*soil mixed with shit. shit costs extra. really.

On the way home, we got a six pack of Alaskan I.P.A.

We made a box garden, grilled some lemon tarragon pork chops, and started livin' off the land.

When it all goes down, we're gonna be ready out here in Montana.

I have a bunker filled with canned goods and ammunition.

And some hot peppers, cilantro and tomatoes.

I also have a trained house panther. Small, but dangerous.

Broccoli, green beans, onions, lettuce, swiss chard, red chard, bell pepper, onions, and probably something else.

^And sunflowers. Three kinds.

You guys are going to be killing people for gasoline and fighting in the Thunderdome.

We'll be livin' the good life.

Fire all of your guns at once.

Explode into space.

I'll be brandishing a bunch of fresh kale.

Pork chops.

Baked beans with onions and green pepper.

Broccoli slaw with craisins and sesame seeds.

Bada bing!

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.

Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.

And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.

And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

You surely will.

You probably know this, but those purple flowered grass-like things by your irises are chives, baby. Make sure you snip some and cook with them (very mild onion-y flavor). You can even eat the purple flower heads, either in a salad or as I did last night in an asparagus, pepper, mushroom, and carrot stir-fry.
