All the things that others want for me
Can't be what I want because I'm free

We're going to see Steve Earle play on Wednesday in a little theater in Bozeman.

We are going to Glacier National Park in two weeks.

Tony comes after that, for the Doobie Brothers concert in Big Sky.

The next weekend, I start working for a different place.

Sometime after that, in the distant, hazy future, I will celebrate my 40th year on this planet.

Should I start taking pictures again?

Nobody reads blogs anymore. Shoot, some of my friends don't answer their phone if you call, but will answer a text message within seconds.

Mom and dad went to a show. They dropped me off at Grandpa Joe's. I kicked and screamed, said, "Please, don't go."

Today, I went to the gym. The usual vanity freak show was on display. I think there are people who take steroids for no reason. They work at Home Depot and just want to get ripped. Wanna fill out that orange apron.

For lunch, I ate leftover steak soft tacos with corn salsa and wasabi mustard.

I bought a book that lists every chord on the keyboard, then I played the organ for a while. I mostly played Radiohead songs, or tried to, anyway.

Stanette read Julia Child's autobiography and this humongous hard cover book put out by the Culinary Institute of America called, Professional Chef.

That's enough for tonight.

According to my last cell phone bill I sent 6,112 text messages in the month of July.

Last night as I was sitting in the pouring rain at the Loverboy concert I was thinking, I should be blogging about this.

Fuck Twitter.

I do have a minor Facebook addiction, but I have to censor myself like crazy.

Ah, but we do read blogs! And some of us even link you, baby. And you've got MAD S.E.O. (which I suppose isn't that great if you're job hunting and people think all you do is play!). Keep bloggin.

Tell Stanette I finally (finally!) saw Julia Child's full kitchen at the Museum of American History last week. Beyond awesome.
