It's been a long time since I did the stroll

I bought one of those moleskin journal books, to record my thoughts on my wedding trip.

I bought a nice pen.

Not too far into the enterprise, it became apparent that a high-functioning, left-handed chimp has better penmanship.

When was the last time you took a pen and wrote several pages of script?

For me, it was probably sometime in 2005, when I was a lawyer in Wisconsin.

I suspect, for the chimp, it was a fine Tuesday in Sri Lanka.

My determination, however, did not waiver.

I steadfastly chronicled our trip to St. Lucia.

We're still sorting it out.

Between my handwriting, all that sunshine, the sheer stress of being a stranger in a strange land, well, I just don't know.

I'll do my best to put something together once it all coalesces.

This was our bathroom. Part of it, anyway.

The pipes in the boogie station bathroom are totally frozen.

The toilet tank is one frozen block of ice.

Fortunately, my smoking hot bride is back in the house to melt that ice.

See you kids later.

I leave you with John Bonham, John Henry Bonham.

awwwwwesome! wow. that IS definitely one smokin hot bride you got there. i'm sure she's brilliant, funny, and warm too, but looking good, kids! it looks like you found yourself a breathtakingly beautiful affair of the heart and eyes for your nuptials and my god i've got to get my butt to some of that lucian beauty. you two look supremely happy and i wish you all the happiness in the world in your future together. to find the the person who understands you in a way no one else can (and despite all the mandatory misunderstandings, still continues to persevere) and who you trust to be strong enough to get through the hard times together is some fantastic piece of luck. great wishes to both of you! and p.s. glad my comment on your departure gave you some good feeling. definitely made me smile. Happy Happies Joe and Stanette!

Congrats again my brother.

I'm jealous! Surprised you two didn't decide to stay there and live the rest of your lives on the beach.
