We all walk the long road
The gig went really well. We added a couple of songs to the one I complained about in the last post.
Then we went out and saw a band, slinging the telecaster, stand up bass, piano and drums. They laid down some serious honky tonk, and people were cowboy dancing in an almost violent fashion.
The following pictures and video are of an instrument most of you probably didn't know existed. It's called a harmonium.

That harmonium is beautiful. They sound so cool. Have you ever heard the albums Nico (Velvet Underground) did with harmonium? John Cale of the Velvets produced her and they are really odd strange. I think she did two harmonium albums and they are both great for creepy odd vibe music. Just that odd Nico voice chanting hard to understand lyrics about death and mythical legends over her spooky harmonium playing.
I have always wanted one. I see them in used-instrument stores, someday I'll come across one when I have the cash.
For your next instrument? Bagpipes? That would be so international of you.
Seriously, you should post video of the band performing. That would be cool. We'd love to see that!
It's pretty. So it's kind of like an accordion with the whole bellows plus keyboard thing, huh. Do you have to keep doing the bellows with one hand? Where did you find it?
No reason is sometimes the best reason to buy something...
