I hope Social Security still exists when I finally go out on tour.

There will be hippies selling veggie burritos and kind buds,

I hate hippies.

I really do.

Go, Amy!

Everybody loves Van Halen. Still holds up.

Party at the Moontower.

Oh man I thought Monkey Man was going to be a totally blasted Amy Winehouse taking a swing at the Stones classic. Boy was I wrong.

I think Van Halen up to maybe Diver Down or Fair Warning still kicks it but the bad taste of the Van Hagar is hard to wash away.

In a totally bizarre twist, the first Montrose album, the one with Bad Motor Scooter and Rock Candy, pushes the same exact guitar buttons as Van Halen's first album, and the singer was a journeyman singer named Sammy Hagar. Eddie even said in interviews that that Montrose album was a big influence, and it's the only Sammy Hagar album that isn't cheezy as fuck, IT'S DAMN GOOOD!!!

Who woulda thunk it? If you dig the first Van Halen album then totally look for that Montrose album.
