Are you happy? Are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat?
Out of the doorway, the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat

I am pretty sore. We did the heart-pounding "M" climb again yesterday. I imagine it will take a few weeks to transition from snow season to summer season.

This weekend, India's college friend, Kristin, and her husband, Eric, are coming to town. It sounds like we won't see much of them, though. They bought some property down in Big Sky last year, and they are meeting with builders, etc. That was a shrewd investment. Property values up there are skyrocketing. There is a building boom there, between the Yellowstone Club, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin, which are all adjacent to each other.

My old friend, Carp, and his wife, Stacey are coming to town in a few weeks. I hope the weather cooperates. The Bells family should return about that same time, so it will be something of a high school reunion for the three of us. I am looking forward to it.

The Sopranos has been superb the last couple weeks. The Gay Vito angle is an absolute gold mine, as is the erosion of Tony's authority. Just fantastic. I'm bummed this is the last season.

On the other end of the spectrum was a Cameron Crowe movie we got from netflix, Elizabethtown. Holy shit, that sucked like a (insert gay mafia guy joke here). Horrendous. Do Not Bother. India had the good sense to pull the ripcord and bail. I stuck it out because, well, it's a Cameron Crowe movie. Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Almost Famous, Say Anything, Jerry Maguire...all classics. But as good as those movies are, Elizabethtown is terrible. That's two hours of my life that I'll never get back.

Good Night and Good Luck was also terrible, but for different reasons. It was just flat-out dull. Black and white + boring plot = yawn.

Whose motorcycle is this?

It's not a motorcycle; it's a chopper.

Whose chopper is this?

Zed's.

Who is Zed?

Zed's dead, baby. Zed's dead.
