Queen says no to pot smoking FBI members
(only one person is going to know that know that ^^^ lyric. mop, if you are reading this, i'd like to thank you on behalf of the group and i hope we passed the audition.)
Today, I went snowboarding again. They reported 5 inches, but up on top of Big Sky, it was closer to a foot.
This would mark three days in a row for me. I know, I know, and I don't want to hear it from you.
It was far and away the best day of the year. I know that's going out on a pretty big limb, picking the best day out of all eleven so far.
I lucked out, and got a slot on the Big Couloir. The Big Couloir is the signature run at Big Sky.
You have to sign up, and you are required to have a helmet, shovel and avalanche transceiver.
It is a chute that drops about 2000 feet straight down.
Usually, you sign up and wait for up to an hour. I went into the ski patrol bunker, and someone had dropped out of their assigned slot.
11,166 feet of elevation.
The drop-in is absolutely terrifying.
In the picture above, it is the chute directly under the tram car.
Here is a fun little video from today.
