Where's that confounded bridge?

Just went out on a recon mission to secure the perimeter on my sweet bike. It was chilly.

As usual, I rousted my buddy the owl and junior, who flew up, circled and watched me. Damn, he is big.

Sorry about the picture quality. I am still learning to use the camera, and I was on my sweet bike. I tried to crop them, so you could see that it was actually an owl, instead of a dark blip on a blue background.

This one, you can tell he is an owl...

This, too...

Here he (or, more likely, she) is with junior...

Here he is being a badass, telling me to get the hell off his turf, so he can enjoy his ground squirrel breakfast with his kids...

I wish this one had better quality...

It's pretty cool. When I ride or run out there, I never know where or when he is going to take off from. When he does, it is completely silent. By comparison, I scared up some huge ravens today, and you can hear their wings flapping and clacking as they take flight. The owl is a stealth fighter, and makes no noise...

I ain't happy, I'm feelin' glad. I got sunshine, in a bag. I'm useless, but not for long. The future is coming on.

Today is Take Your Dog To Work Day. http://www.petsit.com/dogday/

Weeks ago, when I had a job, I used to take my dogs into work regularly. The dogs loved it, and most of the people in the office seemed to love it.

The Business Dog, dressed for success:

My friend, The Finndawg, is getting married tomorrow. I am very sorry that I will not be able to make it, Dawg. But I will be thinking of you on your special day...

And after your special day.

Marissa: That's really, loud.
Frank: Yeah, thanks. Took the restrictor plate off to give the Red Dragon some juice. But it ain't exactly street legal so keep it on the down low.

Frank: I told my wife I wouldn't drink tonight. Besides, I got a big day tomorrow. You guys have a great time.
College Student: A big day? Doing what?
Frank: Well, um, actually a pretty nice little Saturday, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Best of luck, Finndawg.

May your interpretive dance at the reception knock their socks off.
