The song is over
It's all behind me

It's Wednesday.

The middle of the teeter-totter.

The fulcrum.

If the jackass on the other side gets off, you're gonna hit your ass hard.

On the other hand, if Monday and Friday cooperate, you can reach that blissful, weightless state.

Get over that hump, my friends, acquaintances and readers.

Get over that hump.

Get in tune to the straight and narrow.

Show Wednesday the ball. Give it a good up-fake, then put the ball down and drive to the hole.

Because once you get past Wednesday, you know that the help-side defense isn't going to rotate over from Thursday.

Thursday plays lazy D.

Get this:

I am going to compete in an Adult Spelling Bee for charity: The Bozeman Schools Foundation. It is hosted by Christy the Wordsmith from NPR.

It is a team of three. $ 300 entry fee. $ 500 cash prize, traveling trophy.

$ 20 for audience members.

Prize: Best Costume (who the f. do you think is gonna win that?!?!); Best Team Spirit.

Preliminary rounds lead to the championship round.

The mission of the Bozeman Schools Foundation is to provide resources to learning, enrich teaching and create opportunities for BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Screw the charity, I am In It To Win It. I want that trophy.

Or at least best costume.

I am excellent speller. I've recruited a university professor and another lawyer to be my teammates.

Anybody want to sponsor me?
